Given that pooling is managed by the ODBC driver manager, there is probably no good way to customize it from one application to another (when those applications are running on the same client machine). The only thing I found in ADO.Net is a method that clears out the underlying ODBC environment: OdbcConnection.ReleaseObjectPool -us/dotnet/api/system.data.odbc.odbcconnection.releaseobjectpool?view=netframework-4.8
In order to connect to the Progress database through ODBC, it should be connected to your server. You can find the information about how to connect your database to the server in the article on our wiki: -guide/setting-up-database-connection/progress/database-start-explorer ODBC Сonnection To set up an ODBC connection you need to install the ODBC driver that is included in the installation package of Progress OpenEdge. After the installation is completed, open your Data Sources (ODBC) driver, and see Progress OpenEdge VERSION Driver, as shown in the image below. In my case, this driver is Progress OpenEdge 10.2B Driver.

In a ssis package connection manager pane > right click> new connectionin "Add SSIS Connection manager" window select type "ODBC"in "Configure ODBC connection Manager" > select Newin "Connection Manager" select your installed ODBC driver enter the login/pwd info >test connectionAlternatively in the "connection manager" window you can "use connection string"this will be something like thisDsn="WhatyoucalledtheDSN"=Progress OpenEdge 10.1C Driver;uid=administrator;host="yourservername";db="yourprogressdbname";port="yourProgressportnumber"hopefully this may help you
